Metaseal

Metaseal is a highly developed method of leak sealing which, by use of special clamps and fixtures, permits special compounds to be injected under pressure in and around the area of the leak.

Metaseal will keep the line operational until the next regular shut-down when a permanent repair can be effected, and is designed to withstand the normal working pressures and temperatures of the equipment involved.

What does Metaseal do?

  • METASEAL is specialized in leak sealing on line of stream and product leaks, that means without shut-down.
  • Our technique are applicable on the following leaks (low and high pressure, low and high temperature) Flanges, Stufling boxes, Heat-exchangers, Pipelines, Turbines, Safety-devices, Coupling, etc.

The METASEAL technique makes use of a variety of the follwing:

  • Direct Injection Clamps
  • Direct Injection Nuts
  • Direct Injection by Drilling and Tapping
  • Direction Injection Boxes (for welding failures, pipelines, etc.)

Advantages of on-line leaksealing:

  • Energy Saving - leaking joints are in evidence in almost all processing plants
  • Prevents eventual major shut-down and all its consequences
  • Ensures safety at work
  • Protects working environment Increases production
  • Prevents corrosion
  • Cost Effective - alternatives are more expensive or short-lived
  • To avoid air and noise pollution

Where does Metaseal work?

  • REFINERIES
  • PETROCHEMICAL INDUSTRY
  • PAPER MILLS
  • SUGAR MILLS
  • TANKERS
  • FOOD INDUSTRY
  • STEEL INDUSTRY
  • OFF-SHORE INDUSTRY
  • CEMENT AND WATER PLANT
  • CONVENTIONAL AND NUCLEAR POWER STATIONS

METASEAL is not a permanent repair, but a solution to leak problems to save plant shutdown until its normal scheduled maintenance.
